  What kind of set are you thinking about getting? I actually purchased my used set at Guitar Center; they sell used gear as well. What's really cool about the Guitar Center by where I live is the day Slipknot played here (February 13, 2009), the guy at the counter was telling me that Jim Root came in the afternoon of their concert and bought a bass, of all things. He said he was recording in a local studio and needed a bass! (Beats me!!! :) ) He also said that Jim was really tall and very nice! Anyway, what state do you live in, if you don't mind my asking? :)

  Hi! Sounds like you had a decent Christmas! Wow, Sabian chinese cymbal! What make of drums do you play? I just purchased a used Ludwig set. I don't have cymbals for it yet, though. I don't like the snare that came with it--piece of shit! I had a snare already, so I'm going to use the one I already had. The one I had was a wood-shell; the one that came w/the kit didn't. Sounded really tinny, if ya know what I mean. Hope your new year is awesome! Take care & stay SIC! :)
